The Governor - Eyitayo Ogunyemin
Eyitayo Ogunyemi is a broadly experienced SME-centric legal practitioner, business advisory consultant and a founding partner at Law Accent. He started his law career at the prestigious Falana and Falana’s Chambers where some of his engagements included high ranking litigation cases which cut across secured and unsecured credit transactions, labour relations, arbitration and mediation, fundamental human rights, etc.
His versatility in other spheres of law earned him the status of Deputy Head of the Property Unit- a position which he held until December 2015 when he resigned to start LAW ACCENT. He currently heads the business, investment advisory and litigation arms of the Firm. A prolific writer, he is the author of several articles including his business series.
Eyitayo has carved a niche for himself as a plain writing expert who makes the complex simple- particularly as it relates to helping businesses to understand how the law operates. Eyitayo is presently a researcher (PhD-in view) at the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (NIALS) where he is researching on adopting plain English language in communicating Legal Documents.
