Covenant Parents Community is a group of Intentional Parents who want to gain more knowledge on how to raise Godly children: and also build helpful relationships with one another.

The Governor - Dr Titilayo Adesanmi

Dr TITILAYO ADESANMI, medical doctor of twenty-five years’ experience is a practising Paediatrician who has been involved in child health care in various capacities in faith-based hospitals, the public and private sectors in various geopolitical zones in Nigeria. She is a member of the West African College of Physicians and a fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College in Paediatrics. Recently, she co-authored some chapters in a major text book used in teaching paediatrics at both the undergraduate and post-graduate levels in Nigeria.

She is passionate about improving the quality of child care at all levels. Therefore she is a regular resource person on various child health matters on television, radio and for several schools in Lagos. She also hosts an Instagram page (drtitiadesanmi) where she regularly provides all child care givers with useful tips on child care.

Presently she is the medical director at Lifefort Children’s Medical Centre, Surulere. She is happily married with three children.

      Discussion: Every participant is expected to share their findings on this topic with the entire group at this point.

    • Seminar 1 (with Q & A based on topics discussed):
      Connecting with your child

Week 4 - 6

      Parent-Child communication: The power of words
    Week 5
    • Project 2:
      Parenting and child discipline
      Discussion: Every participant is expected to share their findings on this topic with the entire group at this point.
     Week 6
    • Project 3: Parenting the teenager in the 21st century:
      Discussion:
      Each participant is expected to share their findings on this topic with the entire group at this point.

Week 7 - 8

    • Seminar 3: Equipping your child for life (with Q & A based on topics discussed):
      Discussion: Question and answer session
    Week 8
    • General Discussion:
      Challenges confronting a parent in these times 
    • Solutions to these challenges
    • Finding support.
    • Evaluation & Feedback
    • Corporate prayers.

Expected Target Members

  • Men and women who are already parents and desire to improve our parenting skills and also desire to help other like-minded parents to improve their parenting skills.
